Lori C. Adamo, CBCP

Lori AdamoMs. Adamo is founder and president of Code Red Business Continuity Services, LLC.
Code Red’s client list includes large to small sector businesses encompassing the financial industry, manufacturing, insurance, and non-profits.

Before founding Code Red, Ms. Adamo served in municipal government for many years. She worked as the Economic Development Director for the City of Cranston and previously for the City of Woonsocket in Rhode Island. She also served two years concurrently as the Executive Director of Main Street 2000 for the City of Woonsocket. She received an award from the National Main Street Foundation commending the revitalization of a blighted Main Street.

Ms. Adamo is a member of the Board of Directors for the Northeast Disaster Recovery Information Exchange (NEDRIX). She is Vice President and also serves as the Director of the Private/Public Sector Initiative. She is working to establish a Private Public System in conjunction with the six New England emergency management agencies to promote collaboration and resource development at the time of a major disruption. She sat as an advisory member to the Institute for Business & Home Safety’s Board to help market and promote “Open for Business” a disaster planning tool for small business. She currently sits on the steering committee for the RI Cyber Security Planning, the Safer Institutes Credentialing Program, which is a State of RI effort, and is a student mentor for Sophia Academy, an all girls’ school, located in Providence, Rhode Island.

Ms. Adamo has been published in the Providence Business News, National Industry Periodicals and Magazines, and the Disaster Resource Guide covering topics such as Pandemic Preparedness, Business Continuity and Emergency Response Planning. She has also presented on important topics such as Pandemic Preparedness, Business Continuity, Emergency Response Preparedness and Risk Management for industry and public sector conferences and symposiums.

Ms. Adamo is a Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) with DRII. She is a member of RI Tech Collective in Providence and the Providence Chamber of Commerce. She has a BS in Retail Marketing/ Merchandising Management and an AS in Advertising from Johnson & Wales University. She resides in Cranston, Rhode Island.


David Stowe, MSEM

Mr. Stowe is a professional, self-directed, innovative and creative individual with a tenacious approach to solving problems, which supports his reputation of always finding a way to complete difficult projects successfully. His experience includes teaching several city governments Continuity of Operations Planning (COOP); community emergency response and resilience evaluations; emergency management medical dispensing site plan development; developing collaborative relationships between the private and public sectors. He has extensive experience developing and delivering programs to improve disaster preparedness, teaching disaster prep workshops and creating table top exercises for clients. He recently completed a program for the State of RI that will connect the public and private sector industries together at the time of a disaster through communications, resource sharing and partnerships. He has been working with Code Red Business Continuity Services, LLC for the past two years supporting and managing many business continuity and emergency response projects. Mr. Stowe holds a Master of Science in Emergency Management from the Massachusetts Maritime Academy.


Christine Glebus, CBCP

Chris is the past President of the Northeast Disaster Recovery Information X-Change
(NEDRIX) organization. NEDRIX is a not for profit entity with more than 2,700
active Business Continuity Professionals, Risk Managers and Emergency Preparedness
individuals. NEDRIX provides continuity and crisis management professionals’ access
to real time communications as a result of their Public / Private Sector partnerships
with Federal and State government agencies which can assist their members with
coordination efforts during a crisis or assist in the preparations for mitigating an
impact from a planned event. NEDRIX also provides industry best practices and an
opportunity to meet and share ideas and experiences with peers through conferences
and symposiums held throughout the year.

Chris has a consulting company, Glebus Continuity Consulting, which specializes in preparation, recovery and response plans for any business; from the small business owner, mid-sized companies and large corporations as well as providing her guidance and expertise in Crisis Management. Chris consults with Code Red in the preparation and facilitating of their Business Continuity Preparedness Workshops and Planning.

Chris was previously a Vice President at State Street Corporation in the Global Continuity Division heading up Incident Management Services department globally, a position she held for 10+ years.

Some of Chris’ speaking engagements have occurred at Continuity Insights, Bentley College, and the New England Consortium of Schools, Secure World Conference, Disaster Recovery Journal (DRJ) Conference and the Strohl User Group Conference.

Chris previously worked for Fidelity Investments in Boston, Massachusetts where she was responsible for the Business Continuity and Incident Management Programs for their Retail Brokerage Division which included overseeing their Investor Centers nationally.

Chris is the Chairman of the New England Community Incident Preparedness Alliance Advisory Board (NE CIPA), an Advisory Board Member of the Business Network of Emergency Resources (BNet), on the Editorial Advisory Board of Disaster Resource Guide and serves on Secure World’s Advisory Board.

Chris is a Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) as well as holding an Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Practitioner’s certification.
