The experts at Code Red are seasoned professionals who bring management experience as well as the skills gained from operating in emergencies.  These experts, former fire chiefs and police chiefs, and an award winning journalist, bring diverse skill sets and decades of experience to assist clients in all phases of business continuity planning and crisis management strategy.  Code Red's expert team learns about your company's vulnerabilities, risks and needs by close inspection and one-on-one interaction with your key personnel.  Code Red is a natural extension of your risk management staff.

Management Team

Code Red management team consists of Lori Adamo and William DeFeo, Sr. Together, Ms. Adamo and Chief DeFeo, oversee the assessment, communications and training applications designed to support clients with disaster planning, directives for emergency preparedness, and ultimate business continuity.

Code Red employs experts from the public and public sector to work on projects that require specific skills.  The areas of expertise that Code Red draws from are Fire, Security, Terrorism, Facilities, Hazmat, and Information Technology.

Management Bios

Lori C. Adamo Biography

Lori C. Adamo founded Code Red Business Continuity Services, LLC in August, 2003. Code Red client lists encompasses large to small sector businesses such as Citizens Bank, The Procaccianti Group, MFS Investment Management Services, Ferland Corporation, and Coventry Housing Authority. Before founding Code Red, Ms. Adamo served in municipal government for over seven years. She worked as the Economic Development Director for the City of Cranston and previously for the City of Woonsocket.

She also served two years concurrently as the Executive Director of Main Street 2000 for the City of Woonsocket. Throughout her work experience Ms. Adamo served on many boards from local non-profit agencies such as Connecting Children and Families to the local Chamber of Commerce in the City of Cranston, where she Co-Chairs the Legislative Committee. She has received certification by the Disaster Recovery International Institute in Developing Business Continuity Strategies. She currently sits on the Institute for Business & Home Safety's Advisory Board to help market and promote "Open for Business". Ms. Adamo is a Board of Director for NEDRIX, serving as the Chair of the Private/Public Sector initiative to promote collaboration between first responders and the business community. Currently Ms. Adamo is working to establish a Private Public System in conjunction with the Rhode Island Emergency Management Agency to help Rhode Island businesses prepare for major disruptions.

She has over ten years of experience providing successful employment and training applications for business development and growth. Ms. Adamo has a Bachelor of Science in Retail Merchandising Management and an Associate Degree in Business Management from Johnson and Wales University.
William E. DeFeo Sr. CBCP Biography

Bill is currently the Vice President of Code Red Business Continuity Services, LLC. He became certified by the Commission of Disaster Recovery Institute International, as a Functional Continuity Professional February, 2007. He has been working in the business continuity field consulting with small, medium and large companies in the area of Business Continuity and Emergency Operations Planning for the last 4 years.

Prior to working for Code Red, Bill dedicated over 30 years of his career in public service, from overseas combat to the successful arrest and conviction of organized crime leaders. Rising through the ranks through dedication and personal commitment to excellence at all levels is a diplomatic, visionary public safety professional with over twenty five years of executive achievements in the fair and efficient administration of law enforcement. Bill rose through the ranks of the Warwick Police Department with his dedication and personal commitment to excellence at all levels. With twenty-nine years of service and commitment to the City of Warwick he started as a patrolman and rose to become the City's Chief of Police. Under his direction he defended and administered a $12 million dollar budget that supports the law enforcement activities of 225 personnel and a fleet of 90 vehicles.

Bill is a member of Northeast Disaster Recovery Information Exchange (NEDRIX) and is a committee member of the private public partnership in Rhode Island. He is also a member of the Disaster Recovery Institute International, Association of Contingency Planner, Boston Chapter, National Fire Protection Association, International Association of Emergency Managers, International Association Chiefs of Police and Rhode Island Police Chiefs Association.
David Delvecchio Biography

Battalion Chief David Delvecchio handles the fire and life safety services for Code Red. He brings 20 years of experience in business, management, and fire science education to Code Red B.C.S. He works with clients applying his knowledge and experience in the areas of life safety, hazmat and emergency planning. He works to improve compliance with safety codes and educate businesses in safety planning. David performs training and development along with testing to keep every business readied and prepared for fire emergencies. David brings proficiency in identifying and implementing solutions to benefit each business and government. David is a strong leader, a problem solver, and decision maker and drives business to safe and effective fire safety. Chief Delvecchio has a BS from Northeastern University and an Associate of Science in Fire Science. David is a graduate from the National Fire Academy and is currently enrolled in the executive fire officer program. He is certified in numerous NFPA all hazards and incident management training.
Frederick G Wilson, CBCP Biography

Work Experience: Over 42 years experience with a focus in Information Technology Management with concentrations in Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity, large Project Management, Meeting Facilitation, Data and Call Center Management and People Management.

During my career I gained experience in a variety of industries including Manufacturing, Insurance, Banking, Cable Television, Hazardous Waste Management, Restaurant Management and Retailing. While a principal consultant for PriceWaterhouseCoopers I managed very large projects and project teams of Subject Matter Experts across a broad spectrum of clients and industries employing sophisticated project management methodologies.

I taught Information Technology certificate programs in the public and private sector and hold a teaching certificate in the state of Massachusetts. I am currently a guess lecturer at Harvard Business School in the MBA program where I lecture on the practical application of project management.

Education: I hold an Associate in Arts degree in Business Administration from Bristol Community College, a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from The University of Massachusetts and have studied at the . I have also had continuous training and studies throughout my career with a number if specialty institutions such as but not limited to The American Management Association and Disaster Recovery International from which I hold certifications.

Military: I am a veteran of The United States Marine Corps with service from 1958 to 1962.
